Geolocation is the process of matching an IP address to a physical location, based on a database. With geolocation technology, you can know where your website's visitors are before they tell you and show them. By showing visitors their local businesses, products or information, you create an improved visitor experience which drives more sales and/or advertising revenue. Pre-fill the distance search box based on the location of the visitor's IP address, or make toplists displaying programs close to the visitor without having to prompt them about where they are. This can be especially useful for targeting sponsored programs in a business directory to show them to nearby people.

Geolocation databases are proprietary and expensive, so they can't be pre-included in WSN Software Directory. Thanks to bulk discounts offered by the database vendors, however, we can offer it to you cheaper than if you bought on your own. You can add the database to an existing WSN Software Directory for $50 or combine it with your purchase of WSN Software Directory for a discount.

Note that the geolocation database is licensed on a per-domain basis, so you can use it with as many copies of WSN as you have under the same domain name.
